Hello! I did not mean to take a month off blogging, but here we are! February was a crazy month. This post will be a “life lately” one, looking back on February, then filling you in on what I’ve been up to in March so far!
The first weekend my husband and I had to go to Vancouver, and of course it was the weekend of snowpocalypse. The highways were crazy, but we ended up feeling lucky a week later, because the next weekend the highways were actually closed because the weather was so bad. Read more
Is it too cliché to say I can’t believe it’s September already? Seriously, where did the summer go?? I tend to be one of those people that loves whatever season we’re in (Except when winter goes on a few weeks too long…), so I am actually looking forward to the fall. Warm sweaters, leather boots, scarves, changing leaves…it all sounds so cozy! I will miss it being light out until 9 p.m. though.
To welcome a new month, I thought I would write a “currently in September” post, to share with you a snapshot of what I’ve been up to so far.
I have always loved writing. When I was seven years old, my parents gave me a book that was full of writing prompts and blank pages, and I used to spend hours creating characters and filling the pages with stories. Looking through that book brings back so many good memories of that time in my life. I wasn’t writing for anyone or for any purpose other than I loved it!
My dream as a child was always to become a published author, and that remained at the forefront of my mind until I was in high school, when the pressure of choosing a college major and a career path pushed those thoughts to the back burner.
I love getting to know the bloggers behind the blogs, and these tag posts are a great way to do that! If you didn’t see my Liebster Award post, which is basically another “get to know me” tag but with more questions, check that out HERE!
Adrienne, a Toronto fashion blogger from adriennenaval.com, nominated me for this post, so thank you to her! You can check out her “get to know me” tag post here.
